During our activities in the movement, posters held a special meaning for us. In Jerusalem, many things cannot be openly said—but they are deeply felt. Posters became a powerful tool to express emotions that words alone could not carry: anger, hope, courage, fear, and joy.
They allowed us to communicate in public space—silently yet boldly. What speeches and discussions struggled to convey, the posters made visible.
Initially, the main designer was Mais Fareed, later joined by Nazeema Asmar—two incredible Palestinian graphic designers whose work gave visual voice to the spirit of the movement.
