One of the most important sites for us to visit was the Jenin refugee camp. We began our journey at the Jenin Theater with a music workshop, and concluded it with Negative Camera Prints—a powerful project led by Mohammed Bakri, Ruba Frawna, and Nisreen Tahhan.
The print workshop was inspired by our visits to the offices responsible for children's activities, both within the theater and across the camp. On the walls behind each desk, we found collages of young martyrs—faces of those who were lost, staring back at us.
Jenin taught us how Palestinians confront grief: not through silence or forgetting, but by acknowledging loss as something that will inevitably be inherited by future generations. It is a place where memory is preserved—not denied.
