Nabi Samuel is a Palestinian village located northwest of Jerusalem, existing within a complex condition of military control, archaeological zoning, and spatial restriction. The village remains inhabited yet politically and infrastructurally constrained—its presence continuously negotiated.

This project was initiated and run by members of the Sada Movement, the Jerusalem-based collective I founded, working collaboratively with village residents. Rather than proposing a conventional architectural intervention, the team developed a community print workshop as a spatial and cultural practice.

Printmaking became a collective tool for documenting memory, tracing spatial transformation, and articulating stories often excluded from official narratives. Through shared sessions, residents and Sada members worked side by side to produce prints reflecting their relationship to land, boundaries, movement, and belonging.

The act of pressing ink onto paper became both material and symbolic—an imprint of presence within a landscape shaped by erasure.
